I’ve always thought that robots were meant to aid humans by helping them do some of their work. Now, it seems like the Japanese have come up with a robot that you can wear. The Wearable Robot was developed by the Tsumaki Telerobotics Laboratory at Yamagata University

Conceptualized by designaffairs studio with developing countries in mind, the Swirl is a “washing ball” that also serves as a clothes bin, a container for water, and a toy. The idea is that you place your dirty clothes in the Swirl, which can be push or pulled via its detachable handle or even better, kicked along to where you get water. Once you’ve added water and detergent to the Swirl, you can now go home, knowing that your clothes are being washed as you roll or kick the ball home

Sportpong is a Nintendo-like take on the classic game, requiring physical movement to block or hit a virtual ball. But instead of using their hands, players put on paddles in the form of reflectors on each feet and play on a projected field
lego and muji let you create toys out of brick and paper

Japanese retail store Muji has teamed up with LEGO for a special line of toys that combine the world famous bricks with… paper. Basically each set consists of basic rectangular and square LEGO bricks and a bunch of colored paper – I also saw translucent paper in one of the sets – and templates for cutouts. It seems a bit gimmicky to me, but then again it does make a good gift for kids, because it exercises their creativity

How insulting would it be to be killed by this thing? The “I love you” on the rusty chainsaw bar is just priceless

These futuristic illuminated police stiletto heels are kind of look like a strange fusion of vehicles and shoes. I don’t really know why these are necessary, but hey, if they make police officers more visible they might be relevant at some point. This concept design for stilettos for police women were designed by artist Tim Cooper and are covered with intricate law-enforcement details, including tiny headlights, turn signals and strobe lights.
