It can climb a human scale ladder vertically, and travel hand over hand horizontaly, all while untethered. It relies on the strength of its grasping ‘toes’.

PALRO Gets Some Apps, Shows Off On Video

Only a few months after Fujisoft’s PALRO was introduced, the humanoid is ready to receive a several new applications and be used as a people tracker. PALRO may also soon gain a Twitter client to read tweets aloud, in addition to a cooking app, a Japanese word game and remote monitoring abilities. PALRO has been recently spotted with a few newfound ability to track people and objects using its built-in camera.
