Sony recently showed off a prototype of a high-speed wireless technology which ships signals around between internal electronic components. Sony says they developed the wireless technology to overcome current costs and manufacturing complexities due to the sheer number of wires and circuit layers required to handle today’s complex circuits. The prototype circuit sends signals using radio waves in the 60GHz millimeter waveband (I think I saw them play at a local nightclub last night), and can transmit data at up to 11Gpbs over a distance of up to 14mm

Hand-powered chargers are nothing new, but Fame LLC claims that their product, YoGen , delivers as much power per second as the chargers for your mobile device. In other words, if it takes a couple of hours for your device to be fully charged via its power adapter, it will also take you two hours to fully charge your device using the YoGen. I’m finding it hard to take Pong Research seriously because, well, “Pong Research”. I didn’t think I’d ever see those two words combine to stand for something serious. Yet here it is, so let’s get on with it

Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies’ hydrogen station the HydroFILL is a small and portable hydrogen generator, and the battery-shaped HydroSTIK cartridges are even smaller, but right now there’s no sense in buying it unless you have gadgets that can harness the hydrogen. You can buy a small number of hydrogen-powered toys from Horizon, and they also have MiniPAK , a portable charger, but outside of that handful of gadgets, the majority of us will find no point in buying a HydroFILL in the immediate future.

I don’t really know how this works, but my girlfriend and the Web tell me that blasting your face with steam is good for your skin. If you’re a believer, then you should check out Panasonic’s Nano-Care Ion Steamer, which “creates ion steam particles that are extremely small, thereby enabling the moisturizing steam to deeply penetrate the outer layers of a user’s skin.” Ion steam particles
