Rogun: Fun For The Whole Family
August 26, 2010 by Syndicated · Leave a Comment
Rogun is a robot built to identify faces, alert owners to intruders via cellphone, and entertain. KornTech, a Korean venture company, has designed this robot to be for the whole family.
For the adults, Rogun gives assistance to protection of the home, the ability to have a video conference (wi-fi) through the screen on his torso, but most importantly its like a babysitter to the kids. Now there are a lot of things wrong with this robot babysitting your kids. For one, some people just don’t trust robots. For two, kids tend to push things to their limits and this robot appears to be pretty fragile. Though it does have a 7-inch LCD screen on it’s stomach, this robot is far too expensive to be babysitting. Keeping in mind its security system, we say it would be worth it if it wasn’t so expensive. What almost seems to be a Dr. Evil scam, KornTech’s Rogun is going for $1 million each.
