Yume Robo Climbing Robot

Yume Robo was recently introduced at the Shanghai Expo and developed by Musclecorp. The robot is designed to climb structures vertically to an unlimited height, using Musclecorp’s state of the art “Cool Muscle2″ AC servo system which is located in the neck, shoulders, waist and hips. Yume Robo was built to showcase Musclecorp’s technology, but I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to make it grab the nearest blonde and scale a skyscraper like King Kong

It looks like a knight and even has a sword and a shield, but it’s most interesting aspect is the ultra-compact, lightweight actuator and control unit used in its multi-fingered hands.
