The Japanese company, Sendensha Co., had a goal of creating a fish that can swim with the movement and efficiency of a fish. They have accomplished this. The Robo-Fish’s (Electric Fish from translation) movements are controlled through electrostatic actuators, which is how the robot is able to swish its body back and forth like a real fish.

Kuka Robot Arms are usually used to assemble cars but here, it will be used to bend and twist to correspond with the specific points users want to light up

PALRO Gets Some Apps, Shows Off On Video

Only a few months after Fujisoft’s PALRO was introduced, the humanoid is ready to receive a several new applications and be used as a people tracker. PALRO may also soon gain a Twitter client to read tweets aloud, in addition to a cooking app, a Japanese word game and remote monitoring abilities. PALRO has been recently spotted with a few newfound ability to track people and objects using its built-in camera.

UPenn PR2 Is A One-Man Band

The team has finally gotten a PR2 robot programmed to play both the keyboard and drums at the same time and needless to say, this little bot can rock.
